MEDA has operated a large and successful Food Bank which supplies fresh food for 3,000 Chicago needy families
a year for over 25 years. We supply over 1.5 million pounds of fresh produce and fruit annually to low income individuals
and families below the poverty line throughout Chicago and Northern Illinois. The photos below are examples
