The 5th Media is a Chicagoland area joint-venture collaboration between BVM
Olenti and Alado Development providing live and archived business information, local community information and resources,
healthcare information, corporate HR information and news feeds to automated touch-screen kiosks throughout the US.
The 5th Media provides this automated delivery of content from their proprietary database technology via the internet
through daily updates and live webcasts with over 100 interactive information kiosk installations in the midwest and southern
US at locations such as, US Post Offices, state offices, colleges, county health departments, libraries, bookstores,
supermarkets, homeless shelters and corporate headquarters.
The typical stand alone information kiosk
consists of a console with signage and advertising, instructions or public service announcements, a server powering the touch-screen
monitor (1 or more) connected to the internet, the touch-screen monitor, a printer and a UPS power supply. The pictures
